Color change for inc_feature

Not sure but think I got this off this forum from omegetron.

In inc-features.php replace bgcolor="#ffffff" with class="alt1"

I changed it as it says but not getting the color that I thought it would be.

The color is a darker color than whats in my categories for "First Alternating Color"

Is this the color its suppose to pick up. Will be nice to use this when I make some new styles that will have different colors or will it work with different styles and add the different colors from the one inc_features.php file.

Thanks omegatron. Guess its my moniter that makes the color look different.
