I guess you could add some sort of background color or such line 1648 of pp-inc.php is the line

if ( $subthumbs == "no" && $nothumbs ) $subid = $catoptions .= "<option $selecttext value=\"notcat\">$partext$subcatname*</option>";

How would I go about adding a background color to that line without getting errors/messing up the code?

thanks

I'm not sure of the syntax, but basically you would add whatever html code into the line you need to add and escape the " (quotes) with a backslash so it looks like \"

something like this?

if ( $subthumbs == "no" && $nothumbs ) $subid = $catoptions .= "<option $selecttext value=\"notcat\" \"background-color: #808080\">$partext$subcatname*</option>";

It doesn't work.

Red face

Thanks man!

Is it possible to have alternating colors for Top Level > Sub Level and sub-sub-level cats? See screen shot.

It would be really really cool and easy on the eyes to have this type of feature... or am i asking for too much?

Well 3 levels dont think thats possible. We only assign two options notcat and the regular one. So two levels is doable
