Data Directory on a Different Server?

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to have the data directories on a different server than the one where the scripts run? My host has a plan for storing large amounts of data for download but you can't run scripts on this plan.

Any ideas?

Hello

Not really the data path needs to be on the same server as the scripts.

If the other server was one that was like mounted/linked to your server where your server and it would interact as one then its a possibility. Then again thats the only scenerio where it would be possible
