watermark all images users post in vb with [ img ] tag, even images hosted elsewhere

As the title suggests,
I'd like to modify my vbulletin installation so that when members post images using the standard bb [ img ] tag, the [ img ] handler runs it through a system to use photopost's routine and insert the watermark just like all the photos in the pp system. In other words, watermark all images that pass through my forum.
I'm using GD 2.0, btw.

Well what I am saying is that hacking questions are usually best asked at hack sites.
