Look a like as gallery software

ok friends,

i have a serious problem ..first of all i´m a satisfied customer, i´m holding 2 photopost and 1 classifieds licenses at the moment.

But this time i need help from the support team.

I bought a photopost license for a friend of mine.
at the moment he is running the gallery.menalto.com thingy on his page. but i persuaded him to switch to photopost...i guess its he best solution for him.
Please check out the following site:
http://www.coreunity.com/hme

Is this possible? I´m new to customizing the gallery in this way.

Please help me out with that.

What i have to do) is it possible to create such a look a like?

Regards and thanx for your help

Mojo

Are there any hacks available?

Another question. Can Photopost work with Secondary Usergroups?
Imagine the following situation. The friend of mine (who is running the gallery) should have access to upload the pictures. I have made the vbulletin database integration. He is currently Moderator in my forum. There is another guy who should have also access to the upload functionality. But i didn´t want to change his status to Moderator. Can i make Secondary Usergroups? These two people would be added to the Secondary Usergroup and i would make full access in the gallery only to this usergroup.

You can specify the default style under layout options in admin

Hello nope

You need to specify in admin global options the server path to a header file example header.htm which comes with photopost and make sure its writable 666

You can then place whatever html you want in that header file

Thanx ..this is worked...i need another suggestion.

As you can see here you reach every album from the index page.
http://www.coreunity.com/hme

What is the solution for Photopost? To Create a category for every album?

Regards

Well just like that product there are categories and there are albums. On the index we show categories so you need to make the appropriate categories.

Ok .. i need help again. ;-)

Hope you can help me out.

I used the solutions with the sub-categories. I made three Main Categories, two of them named as the Years 2004 and 2005.

Beyond 2004, i want to put all those party pictures.
So i created two sub-categories, i made a test with two parties, so two sub categories.

Ok ...there is a slight problem with it.

this is the main gallery:
http://www.coreunity.com/hme/gallery/index.php

All looks fine at this point.

Now just click on 2004 ... to see the two Partys...

At this point i just wan to see the category folders, to choose one party. But as you can see, here are the pictures.
http://www.coreunity.com/hme/gallery...at=509&ppuser=

You see above the navigation:
Home » Partypictures » 2004 » Room 85

If you click on 2004 you will see all Albums (Sub-Categories)
http://www.coreunity.com/hme/gallery...ry.php?cat=506

^^^ And this is excactly what i want ..to switch the links.
Is there a way to change it?

Another question: (Please have a look at the attachment)

Is there any chance to add more fields to that? I need the following:
Date (manually enter the Date of the Party, not the Upload Date), Location.
And is there a way to see the Visits there? How often the album has been viewed, like its with the pictures.

Thanx for your help.

That is how the alternate template is coded it links the last photo upload and is coded proper. If you want the link to go to the parent cat when clicked you must use the forum view.

To create extra fields you can in admin section use edit categories and define extra fields that can be filled out on upload of photos

hi, found the thingy with the Extra Fields.....
I need it on album-base, not on photo-base.

I have two Extra Fields, Date (of Party) and Location. When i go the way during upload i have to fill in the same stuff for every photo. We have thousands of photos to upload.

Personal Albums do not use extra fields only Categories. You need to upload to a category
