Boards Down - Message

Has anyone out there, taken the "boards are temporarily down/closed" message, and make it redirect to a html page??? This would allow me to have a more graphic, "our board is down" message with other information...

Anyone done this before? Figured someone has tried this before...

Thanks -

Another way...

Haven't tried this before, although when we had our boards offline we made an HTML holding page called index.php and dropped it into the main program folder, so this is the page browsers see. This allowed us - like yourself - to able to incoroporate customisation into the page - just make sure you backup/rename original photopost index.php file. We also took photopost offline from the admin panel - just to stop any backdoor linking to pages etc.
