Providing a url link for photo at showphoto page.

We currently use the UBB Code to show the thumbnail IMG link, which enables members to easily copy/paste thumbnail images into posts at the forums.

We also need to provide a URL to the photo in the Gallery, and the only way I can think of doing this is to use an extra field and manually edit/add the link into this new field for each picture, such as ...
URL for this Photo: http://www.domain.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=9365

Whooweee this will involve a lot of hand work!

No other way to have this URL auto appear, like with the UBB Code, with every photo upload?

If I have to manually enter this link into a field at upload/edit, is there any way to NOT have this URL show as a hyper/live link?

There's no point in it linking to the picture that's already showing, It would be better to have it as the UBB Code shows - not an active link that someone could easily copy.

Another thing I've noticed is that our pics are sometimes linked to by our members who are also in Ygroup /elists, some of which I also subscribe to, and I see that they are posting URLS such as ...

http://www.domain.com/gallery/showph...5&limit=recent

http://www.domain.com/gallery/showph...9365&nocache=1

http://www.domain.com/gallery/showph...=9365&cat=3011

But it seems that for public viewable pics, this is a sufficient:

http://www.domain.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=9365

So I figure it's time to provide a URL they can use with each showphoto pic.
