Stop Private images viewing in recent view

Is there a options/features to stop a private album image being viewed in the "recent photos" on the main page, or any other way?

I tried the "Hide Image" well, it does hide it, but it hides it that much I can't find it again, except if it has a comment against it as it shows up in the Recent Comments (more...) view. So apart from getting to it that way (incase there is no comments) how would I get it back?

Is there a "Unhide Image " link anywhere else except me going via the comments link?

I now have a private album that shows the photo's on the "recent photos" and Recent Comments view on the main page. I do not want to disable these views, so what is the correct way to do this, I see others with the same problem but cant yet see a fix, or did I miss this or don't know if it will fix my problem.

Thanks

George

PP 5.1, Win XP.

Private images if they are private should not be displayed on the recent images. Make note if your admin you can see everything. You may need to login with a regular account to not see all images

Unhide link is right where the hide link is on showphoto.

I did login with a normal user account to check.

This is what it says on the private album main page when I login as Liahona
"Test private album (private album)"
So it is private.

But when I go in as
testing
testing

http://www.hillcrestknitwear.com/fusiontest/index.php
http://www.hillcrestknitwear.com/pho...test/index.php

You can check incase it's me! You may need to go in via fusion?

I can see the 2 files I (Liahona) uploaded to the Liahona private album called
LittleThings
AlwaysSister

Both on the Recent Photos and Recent Comments (more...) section on main page.

Could it be those dreaded cookies seeing it's the same pc.

I'm going to check the Unhide link again to make sure.

Thanks

Yes I beleive your issue is cookies. You have as admin a cookie created called catp and you need to delete that as until you do even though your looked in as another user the category password exists

UNHIDE........

Once I logout then login to PP the only way to see my hidden photo (that I can find anyway) is by clicking "My Albums" then clicking the "Sort Photos" in the "ACTIONS" box, so I can access the photo to see the unhide link.

Is there another way?

Thanks

If I delete those cookies and relog in as testing there is no private pictures in the recent images block

I forgot I had more pc's I could check it with, daaa

Ok, I went in as testing on another pc and I did NOT see the private photos in the "recent photos" section.

*** BUT they were in the "Recent Comments (more...) " section so I need to get that fixed, I'm sure they will want to add comments.

Any ideas.....

PS... The unhide thing as well...

Thanks

Your cookie is not being deleted then George. In the recent images block I do not see private album photos without that cookie catp being on my system

not even the comments at the bottom!

I would ckeck again on the other pc, but I was never logged in as Liahona on that pc, so it could not know me, so how did I see the comments of the private photo's?

EDIT.........

I deleted every file in any folder called cookie on my pc, checked the folders were empty, re-run my browser, logged in as testing and yip, there they were again in the comments section at the bottom of the main page.

Something else must be up!!!

EDIT 2....

PP won't allow me to logout (or so it still says I'm logged in) from PP, I need to logout off fusion before I can go back and logout of PP?

Where is catp cookie reside? If not in the cookie folder!

Thanks

We where not talking the comments section that I know of we are talking the recent comments. Here is what you asked.

The catp is a cookie. I beleive in recent comments they appear but when you click it then you get this cat requires a password box.

You've completely lost me, all I wan't is for the private photos NOT to be displayed on the main page in the "Recent Comments (more...)" section.

You never stated the recent comments box. Your question was specifically recent images which is the thumbnail block

If you read the posts you wuill see that I mentioned "Recent Comments (more...)" 4 times and 2 times in the 1st post along, so I don't know how you thought I never mentioned it?

Quote from the 1st post on in this topic..
I now have a private album that shows the photo's on the "recent photos" and Recent Comments view on the main page.

George

I have repeatedly explained why you see private photos on your recent images. If you dont delete that cookie then you will see them.

As far as comments the way its coded it does not hide comments on private album photos it simply pulls the latest comments. I suppose you could replace the recent comments block in index.php with this

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.

Right and as I stated as long as there is a catp on your computer you will view them in the image block. I really cant say more here on that issue as the cookie would need to be deleted.

Unhide is on showphoto just like the hide link so you can view the photo as admin and unhide it just like you hid it.
