How can I make the extra fields, in the categories, searchable?

How can I make the extra fields, in the categories, searchable?

I first tried adding fields using the “Add a new field type” in “Edit Categories,” but found these new fields were not searchable like the hard coded 6 “Extra Text Field’s.” So I added 20 extra fields to the photos table of the database, and edited the scripts from 6 Extra fields to 26. All works great, but only the first 6 fields (the originals) are searchable.

I have searched but can’t figure out where I am going wrong… Can you point me in the right direction?

Also… is there a Mod for adding multiple images per post? I see this is possible in pp classified.

Thanks in advance
