How do I split up the categories?
 

I have seen some sites, like TechIMO and Scrapviollage (which are featured on this site) where there are categories that break up the photo gallery into categories similar to a forum. In other words, it seems all I can do is to create categories for posting picture in. What I want to do is have headers (categories), which are just categorie titles, then the actial photo albums would be in categories under that. Also, how do you attach Avatars to categories?

Create a top level category and then set the Contains Thumbs to NO; this makes it a section where you can create subcategories.

When viewing an image you have the option of Make Index Thumb - this will make that photo the avatar for the category which the image belongs to.

Ok, that worked, thanks! Now I just need to figure out an easy way to transfer all my pictures from my PHPhotoalbum program.
