Stop Yahoo! Search and Google Photos from indexing photos on Photopost & Reveiwpost?

I'm running Photopost and Reveiwpost on my server that runs IIS6.0 on Windows Server 2003. How can I stop Yahoo! Search and Google Photos from indexing the images that Photopost and Reveiwpost use?

Some people have gone on to use these images on their own websites and blogs but they're being served off of my server. How can I put a stop to that?

Hi..

PP5.1 has a new 'Image Protection' system in place which may help you, very featured and powerfull, you could try reading this article on how to stop a search engine from indexing your site, could be just the ticket for you.

Actually you would want to place a robots.txt file in your root web directory with these contents and save it as robots.txt

This explains how

When search engines crawl a site that contains Photopost and Reveiwpost I assume they're indexing text in the various fields. That is ok for the search engines to do - it's the indexing of the photos that I'd like to stop.

More importantly I want to stop people using these images, being served off of my server, on their own websites and blogs. How can I put a stop to that?

Hi..

Well to stop your images being hot linked you'd need to enable some protection via htaccesss or check your host control panel (cpanel) and enable hot link protection.
