| SMF: avatar and signature not showing
Did a brief search, didn't find an answer. My avatar and signature shows up in the forums, but not within my photopost gallery. Now, I of course searched all options and turned off showing avatar and sig in the photopost admin options but still no fix.
Any ideas?

I just downloaded photopost 3 days ago so unless it was a very recent problem I'd imagine this would be fixed by now.
Another problem maybe?

I would suggest that you make sure all files are uploaded if this was an upgrade. This was fixed a few versions back that I am aware and my avatar shows up here as an example http://www.reeftalk.com/gallery/showphoto.php/photo/258 |

ah easy we dont claim to show the smf avatar or signature on photopost
We integrate with the smf user login for an integrated login and we pull the smf stylesheet. Advanced features like we have with VB3 is not supported yet in SMF

darn, really wanted that feature. Any idea as to when it might be done? --We can't all afford vB with photopost.
I'd imagine it would be a pretty simple hack.

Try making changing the function get_profiledata in your smf.php file to this Code: Content visible to verified customers only.

Strange, changed the line but still displaying it as text. Any other possible ideas? Wonder if it not in the get_profile but in the template that displays it maybe?

I have taken the altered line and placed it within the function above. Try redoing the entire function block to ensure this is copied right

I'd say you're my hero but vanity prevents me from admitting anyone but myself is...so instead, I'm going to have a pint of lager in your name! 3 cheers for Chuck!
Serisouly though, thank you for all your help. This goes way beyond 'support' and I wont forget that.
Cheers.

Great! I'll add this to the build so others can benefit from the effort.

How do I know if I'm running smf? I have PhotoPost PHP Pro v5.11
I'd really like to have the avatar thing working.

This is a forum integration discussion. There are no avatars in an internal install of Photopost as that is a forum thing.
