Wrong Colour on Overlay

I need the overlay to become grey (#DCDCDC) if anyone can help me then please reply to this thread. My Thumbnails look crap due to the white.

Edit the thumbnail template for that style of thumb and change the color. Is that the jagged thumbnail?
