Moving categories with photos

Is there any way to move a single category with its photos and comments to a separate installation of photopost?

Well you could backup the categories and photos tables and that one cat data directory and restore them elsewhere and delete any cats and photos not wanted.

I thought about that but as you probably know, all the photos for every category are stored in one table: photos. I only want some of them. Any way to backup just the photos from one category? If not, any way to extract them from the photo table backup?

If you delete a category it deletes all the photos for that category
