How to reduce line break space in showphoto text box

This is something that's bugged me for a long while and I've finally made a screen shot to illustrate.

It has the appearance that one line break is actually 2 line breaks.

Any way to narrow this line brake to one line?

You would alter pp-inc.php and find the convert_returns function at line 1300

$convert_returns = str_replace( "\n\r\n", "<br /><br />", $convert_returns);

remove one of the break tags

$convert_returns = str_replace( "\n\r\n", "<br />", $convert_returns);
