Adding banners

Is there a guide somewhere explainng how to add banners or some type of HTML blocks on the sides and a banner for the header. I made a logo that I want on top. I am running photopost by itself without VBP or VB on www.flashsf.com.

I am thinking that the blocks can be done through the admin section in photopost, but the banner via ftp.

Any help would be nice..

thanks

Hello

You would upload any associating images using ftp correct

As far as adding html in the header its as simple as editing your header/footer in the admin section and adding whichever html your trying to add.

Same thing goes for the sidebar. Edit templates and choose one of the three custom pal boxes and add whichever html your trying to show where it says. Then save and turn that pal on in sidebar options

Thanks for the reply, ok so I figured out the HTML Pal boxes, but can't quiet understand how to add the sites logo. Usally when I run VBulliten I just replace the vb logo file with the banner I created, but since this is a standalone installation not sure how is done..

In Photopost admin edit header and edit footer links edit headtags links.

This is where you place any html just like you edited the pal boxes. All done from the admin side just like VB and as always you upload via ftp the supporting files

Narrowing it down thanks, I get this message when attempting to edit the header and foot tags:

Unable to create or fix permissions for the file: /path/to/php/header.htm

Correct the permissions or set the file path in the Admin Global Options

To be able to edit the header and footer you must input in global options the true path to the file. Yours are not in use right now.
