Unregisted/no loggin user to see ONLY thumbnails only ???

in photopost . i want let the Unregisted/no loggin user to see ONLY thumbnails only. so they dont hog up the bandwidth.. there is a site that does this but i cant find any information about it...

In your admin options require users to be register to view images set to yes

i have that set to that already. but it block everything including the thumbnails.. i want the Unregister/users to view the thumnails ONLY. to show them know what we have to offer.

What do you mean it blocks the thumbnails? If it blocks the thumbnails then they dont even see your gallery is what you mean right?

Look at your category permissions.

here is the setup i want to do

when a Unregistered / Not Logged user visit my gallery i would like them to see the thumnails ONLY. when they click on the thumbnail it will prompt them to register.

whats the site link? Check your category permissions. Do your unregistered users see anything?

As stated what are your category permissions set to? Your viewers see nothing which is what I said above.

If you want them to see the thumbs but not the large images you set the setting I stated and then in category permissions set all groups able to view the cats

i've got all those checked, and i've done what you says, but still doesn't work

You can PM me an admin login to look as you dont have something set as I have noted. You should also update your software as 4.8.6 was a security release and there have been several in the last couple months

Dont remember this as being a reported bug for 4.8.5 but suggestion would be as stated above to upgrade to 5.03

How about allowing UN-registered users to view medium sized pictures but allow only logged in users to view FULL size/Larger images? How is that possible?
