Sort by date by default

Hello
I was searching this in the forums but can't found an answer.
I just buy and install the script yesterday and I was trying to found a way for sort the photos by date (newest first) and not alphabetically by default in member galleries. This way people could see the new photos and not need to search in all the users.
I can't found any option in control panel for do this. I know I can change it manually but I'll like to put it by default.
Thanks
Isa

In category edit edit the category in question and place the default sort for that category as latest

Oh, I see what happen when I post latest, the order in the gallery of everyone change to the date order.

But I have the problem with the users gallery. For now only three users upload their files: Asuka, Katz and Momoko.
It appears in alphabetical order: Asuka - Katz - Momoko
I was the first uploading files, Katz the second and Momoko upload the last photos.
The order should be Momoko - Katz - Asuka but this only appears when I change it manually.

Inside users gallery it shows right, the new images first. I don't know if I'm explaining it well, english is difficult to me T_T.

If you refer to the dropdown menu at the top of members Gallery page, as Michael says in this post

"You can see that there is a dropdown for sorting the page; the Alphabetical is set by a line in the code, which can be changed to "2" which would be latest instead of "4" which is Alphabetical."

But you would need to do this by way of PHP myadmin, I think.

Well there are two different factors here SHOWMEMBERS always displays by default username a-z Thats how its printed. One you enter showgallery by clicking a member the gallery pulls the sort order defined in the category editor

its two separate scripts

Yes, is the dropdown menu.
I need to use PHP my admin?
How I should do it? I don't like this thing with A users at start and all. It will be better if the users that upload new pictures appears first.
I'm in php my admin now but I'm affraid of broke something ^^UU.
Thanks!
