Where is the uploads/ userid directory

I have read many threads that refer you to the user id directory. I paid to have your people install the gallery for me. Where would I find this directory? I have a lady that is having trouble uploading her photos - here is what she says:

I tried to upload to the gallery yesterday, but it never got me all the way to the part where i tell about the photos, it would say that they were uploading, then take me to a page that only had 3 places to click, and nothing to take me to the gallery! HELP!!!

Anyway the uploads directory is under your gallery directory whatever it is named when you ftp into your server. The userid of hers will be a numeric directory under the uploads directory and you would delete all files under her uploads directory
