How do I completely remove users/photos?

This is a two part question.

1) In my stats, I have (roughly):

Image space used: 100mb

Total space used by the DATA directory: 180mb

Why is there a difference and how do I clear out the stuff that isn't actually being used?


2) How do I delete users correctly? Whenever I delete a user, all of their photos remain in the gallery, but with a blank username.

I'm just noticing that images are piling up that don't need to be there, etc. Please tell me there's a way to clean it all up. Thanks.

Image space and total image space will always be different. There are directory sizes and index.htm files that are included in the total plus I beleive filesize is always smaller than the disk cluster size used.

Image space is sum of filesize where data space is total of all directories and files

Well how about deleting users/finding unowned/redundant images? Does this "feature" not exist or something?

Finding deleted users? Remember if your using a forum integration all user matching is over there.

The only tool we have to to mass delete all a users photo's from there profile page. In scan backup you can find and delete duplicate images. As far as deleting unowned images no thats not a feature as how would we do that? Can't really it on a mass ability. Because of the ability to allow unregistered uploads which have no userid there can be no mass delete based on userid 0
