email notification for sub categories

Hello,

Is there a way to setup e-mail notifications for all sub categories when you sign up for a top level category?

Any help would be appreciated

Hi..

If you goto your PP admin > admin options > Allow users to be notified of new posts via email - if you set this to 'Yes' i believe this should work for sub-cats.

Toney,

It is set to Yes. I have a Category Named Family. Under that I have a category called 2005. Under that I will post family events for the year. I have tested this and subscribed to the Family category, but when I post a new pic in 2005 I don't receive a notification. If I post a pic directly under Family I receive a notification.
