I broke my footer! Help! I was trying to modify my footer and I found out too late that I did it wrong and now I can't seem to fix it. In Global Options in the "Full path to the Footer include file To include an HTML file as the footer, enter the full path." I put html code and a link to a graphic, then I find out that it's not supposed to go there, but now I cannot get rid of the html in that space. I have tried backspacing, typing in different text, pasting in different text, but it always reverts to the html I put in there the first time. Can anyone help me?? Thanks in advance, Kimberly |
You must go to your control panel of the site use phpmyadmin or similar database viewer and edit the entry in settings for the footer. Its like setting 8 or 10 in the settings table. |
OH MY GOSH!!!! Thank you SO much!!! This worked like a charm and was so easy. Thankyou, thankyou, thankyou!!! Kimberly |
Ok this helped this blind pleb when i also did the same stuffup but it doesn't give me a hint on what to do next to get my footers in there. I am trying to put some html code for affiliated community sites in. These counters are a ranking system that count hits and then grades the site comparing it to other similar sites. I have 5 of these counters I need to put in but can't figure what the heck I'm to do. See www.tropicalscraps.com.au and look at the bottom of the page. You will see the counters there. |
