PP5.03 and Watermark

I'm using PP5.03 runing with GD2 2.0.28
I try many combinations and so far I wasn't able to insert a watermark on my pages.
This are the combinations I used for my path info:
/usr/local/etc/httpd/htdocs/imigrar/photo/images
/usr/local/etc/httpd/htdocs/imigrar/photo/images/
/usr/local/etc/httpd/htdocs/imigrar/photo/images/watermark.png

If I choose the option "Enable On-The-Fly Watermarks" I'm receiving an error on the photo display: it only shows the Photo digital name (like dsc0001) and the photo description.
If I change that option to "no" then the photo displays, but not the watermark.
I'm trying to do it in a brand new .jpg file I'm uploading.
The /watermark.png was update as a binary to my server.
what else it could be? Any ideas on the coletive?
Thank you

I see this

watermark.pnp

in your example is that a typo? It just be a png using GD2 and it would be like so if your path is right

/usr/local/etc/httpd/htdocs/imigrar/photo/images/watermark.png

It'was a type here wish I had the typo on the database files
Do I have to include the /watermark.png file on the path or not?

Thank you.

Let me add this:
I was using thumbnail frame, and I also removed it before doing all those tests.

I mean that I not using thumbnails frame because I read here in another issue that frames could prevent the watermark to work, so I removed them.

Still not working.

I'm not sure on what you mean edit the watermarks.php file, but I create this file and upload it and create the path to
/usr/local/etc/httpd/htdocs/imigrar/photo/images/watermark.png
which is were the file are on my server. (this is the full path, not relative to the photopost program).
