Upload mp3 AFTER pic has been uploaded

Okay here's the scenerio...
Musical instrument makers/players upload pics of their instruments in our gallery.... Now they have a sound clip they'd like to have with the picture.

Do you have any suggestions on how to set up an mp3 upload section, within PhotoPost? somewhere else at the website?
I'm thinking, alternatively, if they uploaded the mp3's into posts at our vB forum,
and then they Edit Photo > insert link to mp3 attachment in the photo description.... haven't tried it yet.

Any ideas? I'm hoping to come up with a methodology I won't have to change mid-stream LOL

Hi..

firstly enable the .mp3 extension in PP via admin > Upload Photo Options > Acceptable multimedia file types (simple add a comma , followed by the extension .mp3)

then a user could upload an mp3 and on the next page of the upload where a user types in the file information etc they could add a thumbnail of the instrument or whatever you want...

Hi Toney,
We want the pics viewable in larger size, and I think the way you suggest only allows for thumbnail view of the pic.

Also we already have the musical instrument category established, some members are asking if they can add a mp3 with their pre-uploaded photos, after the fact, possibly through edit photo function..

As this isn't possible with PP as is, I'm wondering if there may be another method of having the mp3's uploaded elsewhere, (vB Forums?) and then put the link to mp3 in with the photo description in the gallery.
The post in the forum could include IMG tagged pic from the gallery.

There's the thought of creating another category in the gallery just for multimedia uploads, then linking attachment to photos...

It all sounds like double work for me!

Whadaya think?

I'm not familiar with mp3 tech, having only just implemented it due to recent requests by musical instrument maker/players at our site.

The situation is how to find another way around - "you can only have either/or" without it becoming a major mod :)

The only way would be to allow larger thumbnails
