Uploaded fotos won't move!

Hi!

First of all, great product! Loving it! Using it!

My question is regarding the upload process. If the file i'm trying to upload is set to Read Only it will not move. It will add to category but it will get stuck in an endless loop and get the same name as the previous copy but with an extra "1" in the filename...

I'm using Windows Server 2003 with IIS6 and everything is working perfectly except that. To be able to bulk upload I have to make sure that the files are not set to Read Only, because if they are they get stuck in the upload folder. The weird thing is that PP modifies the filename, but can't move the file. It gives no errors and no warnings....

Believe me, this was frustrating until I right clicked on the file and dechecked that little checkbox...

Is this a limitation in PP or is it a limitation in Windows (IIS)...

If it is not directly related to PP and no other solution than making sure the files are not Read Only I think PP should warn if the same file is processed over and over...

This would be totally an IIS windows permission issue.

We state that the uploads and data folder be unix 777 which in windows means everyone read write and execute.

We attempt to delete the files after they are moved to the data folder but if the server doesnt allow us not much we can do.

I understand! But the strange thing is that the script manages to change the name of the file but it fails to move it!

Changing a file name versus move or delete it is a totally different permission level

Yeah, I understand. I just thought that permission levels in a Windows system were less sofisticated.... :/
