When uploading photos there are choices for which gallery to chose. But for some reason the list is getting longer by members galleries showing up there too? Is there a way to turn this off? And remove the added member galleries? http://www.justinternationals.org/ga...to.php?cat=500 |

You can in your options in admin elect not to show the members gallery and it will not appear on the index or upload options.

This one? "Do you want to show the Members Gallery in List format?" It is set to no.
Or this one? "Show Personal Albums Index link under Members Gallery?
Adds a text link to the Albums index into the Members Gallery description" It is also set to no.
Or this one? "Allow users to create Personal Albums?" I just changed it to no. If this was the correct one how can I remove the personal entries from the list?

Well that's not under admin, it's under index options! I set it to no. And the other categories are still there? Do I have to manually remove them now?

What are you trying to do?
Any categories you allow uploads to will appear in the uploads box.

If you go to the link in the first post, then click galleries, I would like to remove the last four and stop any more from appearing.

You only want members to be able to upload to the members gallery?
You dont want them to be able to upload elsewhere?

You'd have to look at the list to understand. There are plenty of categories but when members were making there own galleries they were appearing in the drop down list. You explained how to stop that but the categories are still there.

As I explained any category you allow uploads is going to be in there.
The only way to not allow anything else would be to not allow them to upload in any other category than the one you want which is handled by editing usergroup permissions in the category editor

I want to allow the first seven categories.
I do not want to allow the last four and I want to remove them? I did not put them there. Members did somehow but I think we have that turned off now?
They are not listed in the PhotoPost Category Editor. I can not find them any where in the admin control panel?

I think you only see them because you're an administrator, regular users only see the Members gallery, their own galleries and the categories that you've created for public.
Create a new standard user and login and see how it works for yourself =)
Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.

If Eagle-Mark is referring to Albums, that is correct, only admins see everyones Albums in the upload dropdown.
A user should only see their own albums in the dropdown.
