New photo indicator

Michael i saw on photopostdev's main page, you had the block on the upper right corner that indicates new photos etc. Is this a feature of 5.02 or is it a hack/mod. I searched, but could not find any reference to it.

If it is indeed a mod, just delete the post and i will post over at the dev site.
