Adding category thunbs to parent of sub-cats?

How do I add a thumbnail image for a category that has sub-cats? My Gallery is located here: http://forums.screamandfly.com/Gallery/index.php

I have some categories that have sub cats, but the parent category has no images, so where would I get them from?

HI..

Thats a very good question, i believe if a particular category has sub-categories within it then you can only have a thumbnail shown for the subcats only.

If thumbs are off for a category you can not show a cat avatar for it
