Thanks omegatron, it's working now. Is this something that will be included in future updates/releases or will I need to manually change vb3.php each time? Is it to do with the fact I'm using 'Pre-Defined Avatars' vs Custom or not??

I have said something to Michael although it makes no darn sense

if ( $hasav ) is basically the same as if ( $hasav != "" ) as all both are doing is saying is a variable returned from the query
