| posting pictures
I don't want all my photos to show who posted the picture. Let's say I have a category that hosts all pictures for a softball tournament. I don't want my name under all the pictures that is confusing having my name under the title.
I can't figure out how to turn that off. I've really tried.  |

Hi..
I would say you could edit the 'showgallery.tmpl' - my example is below (doesn't show usernames) it's a vb-enhanced template for PPv5 - copy & paste into your showgallery.tmpl - alternatively i just edited out lines 73-80 Code: Content visible to verified customers only.

the thumbnail preview is the area. when i upload a bunch of pictures of other people I dont want my name below someone elses. I know other gallery software I've run over the years let me toggle name caption on or off. There are good uses for it too.
Could I have the folder name under there instead please? That'd be much more useful!

I created/registered a distinct username (for my purpose, I called it `Photo Archives'), and on upload, I change the username of any pics not wanting mine or another username, to `Photo Archives'.

| hmm
that is interesting but in "show photo options" in the photopost admincp it has everything under the sun but this option.  i just wish there was a way to turn it off for specific categories. Some do not need that title.

edit the feature.tmpl - around line 65 delete the following :

Say, Toney, is this also in reference to this Thread
where I would like to remove the username under thumbnail of Most recent and Random thumbnails (I'm geussing they're called) preview bars, on the gallery main index page ?
