Watermark default off

Hi, I'd like for users to upload photos, but I don't want them to be automatically watermarked because I don't know if those photos the users are uploading are copyrighted or not.

However, the photos that I upload are taken/made by me, and I'd like to watermark them, but I have so many that I'm bulk uploading.

One problem, I'd like to get those watermarked, but if I turn watermark on, the photos the users upload get watermarked as well.

Is there an option where admins only, can choose to watermark or not watermark their photos?

There's the option "do not use watermark" but is there an option for "Use watermark" to overide the default setting of having watermarking off?

Howcome it shows the thumbnails from the screenshot category there, when you haven't even accessed the screenshot category.

I'm trying to get it so, when you click on a parent category, and you go to the page with the subcategories, you see the subcategories alone, and not thumbnails from the subs.

Hi..

To solve the watermark issue i would recheck all your categories > Admin > Edit Categories >

look for the setting near the bottom of the screen :
"These checked usergroups will have their photos stamped with your overlay photo"

and alter normal/registered users uploads not to have a watermark for each category, same again for administrators but this time set to 'yes' (have watermarks) - do this for each category you have.

To view subcats without thumbs you would need to turn off "Show Most Popular images on Index page?" in the index options.

Edit: hehe nvm I see what I did wrong so I went ahead and fixed it. However, is there a way to make it so, it doesn't say this category does not contain any images, because the gundam seed destiny category is just a title category to hold all the stuff gundam seed related, so I had no intention of having images for it. Thanks hehe you've helped me quite a lot.

possible way to hide that episode 19? So it only shows screenshots, it works on index page but not on the pages after.

Hi..

Maybe you could edit the language file where it says "This category does not contain any images" and alter it to something more informative or friendly.

Also have a look in your admin settings for 'Depth (number of levels) of categories to display' and change this to a 'zero' (0)

Hey, yeah I've tried the depth thing, but then on the index page, it makes everything 0 levels as well. Maybe this could be a feature in the next photoshop update. Deciding the number of levels to display, by category. Thanks

This is a feature of our software my friend

In every category there is a catdepth level input box of how deep to display children that overrides the default one.

Edit: oo it works not, You have to do it for 2 parent cats above too. THanks
