How do I add my own header and links

to the top of all pages on photopost?

Hi..

simply create a 'header.htm' in your favourite html editor with the links or info you would like displayed and upload it to your server, then in your photopost ACP (admin control panel) goto > all options > Full path to Header Include file : and enter the path to your header.htm, similar to the line below...

/home/myhost/public_html/gallery/header.htm

Ok, I did this and it put the header "box" there, but it's not showing my pics and now the menu bar is clear off to the right. Here's the link

Hi..

Check the attached, it's an example header file i've just created for you, it shows a simple table with three columns and a link in each column, unzip & upload to your photopost installation directory (where the main .php files are) then point to it via your photopost admin, just type into the box where it says 'Full path to Header Include file' -

type : header.htm
(no path) and it should work, the table i created is just a simple example of what you can do with a header, my table is 100% width and shouldnt cause any layout problems.

Edit the file if need be, Give it a go and lemme know how you get on

Ok, I am seriously messing things up. I left what I did on the board if you wouldn't mind looking at what I'm doing wrong. The pics of the buttons won't show up, and the link to the message board is not working correctly.

Hi..

Download the attached, unzip & upload to your photopost directory over writing your existing "header.htm" file.

I've made some alterations to the links, you'll need to alter the 'articles' & 'design team' links yourself, i've only made an example link for those two buttons.

hope this helps

Thank you so much, but I still have one little problem. The "Message Board" link isn't taking you to the MB, well it is, but it's to the "test" screen.

Hi..

That link is the default to the main page of your forums, unless you have another forum someplace :) - just alter the link on the button as required, cheers
