The exif camera icon is definately shown in the example you provided in the other thread.

No I dont but then it all depends if your properly setup exif on that server and are you running the latest version of the software?

the latest of jhead ? or the gallery?

for the gallery i just updated both jugend.co.il and taukd.com

for the exif setup, i could be wrong. this why i am inquiring of possible leads to fix this.

You would have to verify two things. You set in our options the proper path to jhead on the server and set to use extract exif in our upload options.

Now you need to ensure you have a working jhead on that server if you dont your not going to be able to extract exif.

Are these images newly uploaded, or were they there before you turned on the EXIF reading? If they were already there, at least in my case, the EXIF icon won't show even though the EXIF is being read into the database on a rescan. I have to manually go into the database and change 'exifinfo' in table pp_photos from 0 to 1 for all pre-existing images, after the scan database is run.

Note for new uploads, it works fine. If this is the case with you, I would check your database. For some reason, scan database for EXIF does not change the 'exifinfo' flag from 0 to 1 when it finds EXIF.
