User uploading problem

I have only just installed PP on my site. So far only 3 people have uploaded images ,myself (admin) and two users, one user has uploaded successfully (he never reported any problems) , and another user who tells me when he tries to upload an image he just gets a blank screen.Or rather ,it starts to upload and then they get a blank screen.
Just incase ,if the picture they are trying to upload is too big, would they get a message telling them so??

Just checked : The pic is in the upload folder on my server

The picture is too large and the script is timing out

max_execution_time is already overrode to 0 so try also adding this in bulkupload.php

after this

ini_set("max_execution_time", 0);

add this

ini_set("memory_limit", "20M");
