How do I show med-image with video files?

I'm trying to get photopost to display a medium sized image for multimedia files (in my case CAD files/blocks), but I can't seem to get photopost to create and save the -med medium sized images for video/multimedia files - only the -thumb files.

Would anyone be so very kind as to help me figure out how to get photopost to create & display larger medium sized images for multimedia files for the detail/download page in addition to just the -thumb files (which are great for the category page, but don't show enough detail prior to someone downloading the full multimedia file).

You cant make mediums with multimedia images.

The image processor is not used in multimedia files are not supported in imagemagick and GD

The only option there is is to display an optional thumbnail instead of the stock multimedia gif
