Change the background color?????

I just had a new installation done by PhotoPost. All of my pictures now have a black background, which I hate. I tried changing the color by adding a new color code in the "Color For Image Borders" area of Layout Options in the Admin Panel, but the background is still black, so this must not be the way to adjust the background color...Please help.

Found the answer to my own question...

Under the "Select a border for your thumbnails" option I needed to select "Thumbnail" in order to see the color change I had made. Previously, "Thumbnail-Round" was selected.
