Watermark Image Requirements

What are the requirements of the watermark image?

Does it need to be a transparent GIF? How is sizing acomplished for photos that vary in size??

I suppose it does not need to be transparent. If can be gif or png but that depends on what image processor your using.

sizing is handled by scaling it based on a ratio with the large image. Just watch trying to create a really big watermark. that wont work on smaller images
