Limiting total images per usergroup?

Micheal, thanks a lot for creating this new forum. It will be very easy to search and find solution to common question each of us would be asking

Now to start with my question, I need to have total upload limit per usergroup. I am aware of upload limit/day which is already available. Whe I need is

Usergroup A : Member Can upload toal 100 images

additionally Usergroup A can upload only 3 images/day. (already available in 485)

Can you guide me on how this can be achived or any hack that is already present?

We don't have a setting that says you can only have 100 images; its based on the amount of disk space you are using. An explicit number of images would require a mod.
