E-mail to subscribers

I'm running PhotoPost 8.22

Today I spent a lot of time moving things around in my gallery, creating a few new categories etc. Before starting, I turned off "Use email to notify users?"

I then sorted images using the "Bulk Actions" menu.

One of my forum members contacted me regarding e-mails she was getting from the forum. She was a bit annoyed, seeing as how she had gotten over 600 of them!

They read as follows:

The image in question is not new. For that matter, it was not even moved from the category it is located in.

If you move images into a category and a user has subscribed to it then should would get the email.

Now you could make the admin follow the same permissions as the front end notification by modifying line 574 of adm-misc.php like so

In that case, I think I have found a bug when using the Bulk Actions.

Apparently when you use Bulk Actions to modify a page of 10 images, it sends a notification for all 10 images, even those you do not move to a different category.

The user in question was subscribed to an existing category, not the new ones. She got notifications for images that were NOT moved to a new category. But they were most likely on a page of 10 images with other images that were moved to a different category. I'm guessing it "moves" all 10 when you save the page, and the ones you don't change "move" to the original category they were already in when you save that page?

Meanwhile, thanks for the fix, I'll apply that.

Well we were discussing the code block for notification at line 584 try moving it up under this line at 539 so it looks like this.
