where exif info?

I update version 5.3 photopost to the last, and I don't have exif info. I tried to update the information by using the 'Check here to rescan photos and save EXIF information' tool, but there is no result.
for example, the update log:

Your using russian language try adding this to your russian language file in the languages subdirectory

Introduced in Photopost 8.3 one can not select whether they want jhead to extract exif information or PHP is your php has exif support installed in PHP. That way users whom have PHP exif installed and have no way to install server level applications like jhead can have exif info extracted from photos as well.
