Large Files Never Show Up

This is probably a configuration error on my end instead of a bug, but didn't know where else to post it...

When uploading an oversized image (5 MB) the image uploads and you get the message "Your image was uploaded succesfully" (or whatever the usual message is.)

A moment later you get dumped back to the main screen. You never see the upload screen where you can edit the title and description etc. Also, the image is nowhere to be found, it never shows up.

How do I fix this problem?

You get that message because there is nothing to process and you are correct it is a server config issue.

Most any server the PHP max file upload allowed is 2mb. You would need to php.ini on your server and increase the maximum filesize allowed to say 8M from 2M.

I have not heard back from you but the correct action would be to check your PHP on the server and adjust accordingly

That shows you an example PHP info that has settings adjusted to maximize and allow larger file uploads up to 20mb.
