Photopost Pro 8.22 Popups Issue Upgraded from Photopost Pro 8.03 to 8.22 When you click on a tall photo, the popup window shows 3/4 of the photo, with some blank grey space at right. When you enlarge the frame, you see that 1/4 of the right side of the photo, is being hidden by the frame. There is also more blank grey space at right. It seems the tall photos are not being centered in the window frame. It looks as if maybe the popup window size in inaccurate or something? Clicking on wide photos is perfectly fine however. How do we fix this? Thank you. |
Maybe something to do with your css issues you had before with cms? 26704_806276139109_11802768_43821790_7895736_n - PhotoPost Photo Gallery There is a tall photo from this very site the popup simply opens a window with the large image. You would need to actually give a real example if you want a comment. |
No idea what you are referring to in regards to a prior css issue with cms? I notice nothing odd about the link you posted. I can see the tall image fine, however it has nothing to do with me, as I did not upload that photo. Links and screenshot have just been sent to your email, we don't want that stuff in public threads. Thank you. |
I was showing you I see no problems with popups I can give various site links. I seem to remember you having an issue with sizes getting whacked out because of some css issue you where using as some fix vb told you to do to a cms issue you had. http://www.photopost.com/forum/photo...tead-wide.html This is what I was asking if it might be related to this. Since you did not like my example from our gallery here lets compare apples to apples. Here is an example of vb4. I am just providing examples as you seem to have an issue with actually posting examples of your issue so all I can respond from is what I see from the many site examples I can pull up. http://www.reeftalk.com/gallery/reefs/p1244-clown.html |
That was an issue where we were trying to fix a VB blog picture comment width issue. The fix didn't work for the blog, however it did stretch the tall images in the gallery. We removed this fix and the tall images were fine, however still off center. This bug has been with us since 8.03 and was there even before the attempted blog css fix. Quote:
Trying to upload to your test gallery, not working. Will email it to you. The file you uploaded was not an acceptable format.: photopost822-tallpopups-2.jpg Quote:

If you are expecting the image to be left aligned not center then edit your showfull template and change the align statement to left not center. ;) |
Actually, I don't expect it to align left, right or center, I just want it to pop up a window frame the same size as the photo, just like it does for the wide photos. ;) Does this makes sense to you and is this possible? Thank you. |
old woman - PhotoPost Photo Gallery The issue is not from our app that I see old woman - PhotoPost Photo Gallery I would suspect the issue is a style thing in vb4 where the left side has a padding issue and the padding is there on every single popup in vb4 To test it is real simple turn off your vb4 boxes in edit integration and under forum settings in admin set forumstyle to no Your photopost should be unattached from your vb style then try looking at things. There is very little I can tell you to help you as we do not load any style elements on that popup. |
You can try in showfull.php comment out the line like noted below at the bottom of that file Code: Content visible to verified customers only. |
Let me know if that does not work but it worked in my test. |
Thanks Chuck, I'll give this to him to try and see if it works. Since I was able to reproduce this bug on your site, would it be safe to say that you are working on fixing this in the next upgrade? I'd much rather have these custom edits done in your software as standard, instead of my guys trying to edit things. What are your thoughts? |
Well there technically is NOT a bug. The issue is as I said something to do with the vb4 style that causes the issue not photopost code. The little trick I did surpresses the header stuff and is probally what I will do anyway since this is a popup and there is no need for any header footer info. |
This will be in the upcoming 8.23 release. |
