Featured Photos Box

Featured Photos box on the index is acting weird when viewing as a member VS as a guest/not logged in.

It appears not to show a pic from a member's album, but instead of putting another photo in its place, it creates a blank space and adds another photo to the next line. The Random is much worst with many blank spaces.

Left side is view as member, and the right side is as a guest.

Blanks are inserted when results that a group is not allowed to view are in the returned results.

The pic that is not showing is in one of my albums that is set to public and assigned to a category that allows for viewing to unregistered users.

Quote:

These checked usergroups can view images in this category.
Unregistered / Not Logged In = YES
That same pic (although smaller) shows in the latest comments box just below it, why wouldn't it show in the featured box / most popular?

I have "Require users to be registered to view images" set to yes, but that shouldn't affect anything as all the other thumbs show everywhere else. I use that for when they click on a thumb they get the "you must be registered to view images" message.

Maybe an oversight? Would be nice to have blank spaces purposely being created. Kind of wastes space and looks, well not so good. Maybe something that can be revised in the next release? ;)

you can send me info to look at it if you want but album permissions are taken from the members gallery.

I still have that after the upgrade so I'll PM you the info to take a look.

Thanks!

It wont let me PM you. :( How should I get the login into to you?

Chuck S February 26th, 2012 08:51 AM

I do not accept PM\'s and all information to submit to the company can be done so through the contact us link in the site header.
