Hosts reports PP file (dcf.php) is compromised
 

My host reported to me that the forums/dcf.php is potentially a compromised after they ran their security scan on my hosting account. Whats the deal with this or what explanation need i give them? I am on the 7.1 version with SMF integration.

Dcf.php is an integration file in our software. It is not even in use in your situation your host scan is false or in error.

If I delete it with my integration, will it break the connection? Simply asking, can i do without this file if i have PP and SMF integrated?

No not at all as stated it is not even used on your site which is why your hosts report is essentially false. ;)
