Change email

Just had a message from a member saying he couldn't upload any photos or post comments. I had a look and what has happened is that he has gone in and changed his Email address , that should not have made any difference but for some reason the system has put the account back into the "users awaiting Email confirmation" list.

I have switched his account back on but I may have several members that this has happened to, I fear that the list will be over 1000 long.

If you have email confirmation set to yes I would suspect that his group is changed. Is this a standalone or integrated with a forum. If your using vbulletin this is normal I beleive in how they do things. The user is sent an email and has to confirm his email change.
