Category Description more limited in PPro 7.1 vs 7.03?

Prior to upgrading PhotoPost Pro from 7.03 to 7.1, I was able to include seemingly any variery of HTML tags in Category Descriptions, and (within a certain length, of course) everything seemed to work fine.

7.1 still appears to allow <br> and <li> tags without issue, but now <a href='""></a> and <font size=""></font> tags appear to "break" the description and prevent me from editing it or doing anything with it. Please see the attached screenshot.

Is there way to allow these HTML tags, or at least some form of equivalent? How can I fix the impacted categories these without simply deleting and recreating them or cracking into the database? What are the "rules" about category descriptions? Is there a way to get around them, even if unsupported?

Please help ASAP. My gallery depends heavily on category descriptions being somewhat flexible.

Thanks!
Ryan

Looks like I'm having the same problem with the <font> tag in Category names, as well. When I edit categories, it used to list the category name in the editing interface as "<font color="yellow">Category Name</font>". Not it does not include the <font> tags, but is listed as "Category Name" itself, which is still in yellow. I am not able to edit it and it shows as appears in the attached screenshot. Judging from the point where it cuts off the text, it would seem the quotes (") are the problem. All of my original questions still apply. Please help. Thanks!

I do not beleive we ever meant to allow html in category descriptions as htmlentities is not compatible with foreign languages but you can try uncommenting this line in adm-cats.php

Chuck,
As always, you rock. I'll be converting to Xenforo soon, and PhotoPost (which has always been the foundation of my website) will be coming along with me.

Thanks Again,
Ryan
