Won't sign in users... When you go to my gallery: Main Index - CrossfireForum.org Gallery, even though users are signed in, it doesn't have them signed into PhotoPost. If you click on the Register button, it wants people to register for TechIMO.com. What is going on? I can't even access the administrator panel because it doesn't show me as logged in. I haven't changed any files or settings. It's been working for years with no problems. |
COPPA Form - CrossfireForum.org Gallery I am not sure what your techimo comment is about if I hit register it goes to the photopost registration script. Your gallery is therefore installed as a standalone It is suppose to be installed to integrate with your forum but it is not. I would suspect from what I see you have left your install script online and someone has decided to break it so you would need to properly reinstall to integrate with your forum and then delete the install script That should correct your issue. |
If I do this, will it delete the current database and pictures? |
Was it ever integrated with the forum? You can reinstall to integrate with the forum and as long as you install into the same database tables it will not delete data just update things photo ownership may become an issue if it was never integrated. |
I tried to reinstall, but now the index page is completely blank. The control panel does work if I go to it directly using the control panel url |
My guess would be tutorial from the faq forum Number 2 should help http://www.photopost.com/forum/photo...solutions.html |
Ok, now I've gotten it working again, but the "Featured Photos" box on my main forum page is only displaying black boxes. Again, no code has changed, so I'm at a loss for what happened. |
featured photos would be a hack not part of the code released as part of our supported download. One suggestion I would have is to make sure your data directory url has a trailing slash on it under admin edit integration. that is if its the mod I am thinking I think it uses that url. |
