Avatars Missing

I have just installed the latest version 7.03 integrated into a Mybb forum, all went well and very pleased with everything apart from Avatars will not show, does not show in profiles either.

in the Mybb php file the user profile for avatars show as follows:

$userprofile[6] = ""; // Avatar

Our forum is directed to another sub forum on the domain, the full path to avatar file is as follows: domain/public_html/mybb/uploads/avatars

The Gallery is also in a seperate folder. domain/public_html/gallery

All is well and everything else integrates well with the Gallery but i think there maybe more to the Avatar part to show them?

I do not beleive from what I see that any integration was written to pull in forum avatars. Only specific integrations have that from what I see.

To pull a users avatar there has to be code and information pulled to do that. Might be a nice idea for a future edition of the integration with that product. I know when the mybb integration was written that product was brand new.

OK Chuck thanks for the reply, everything else works fine especially the important one, members log in works OK as do user group recognition.

So for now we can live with that, i may speak to the techs on the forum software to see if they have any code suggestions that may work.

I did try one of the codes put in another post i found here for vbulletin software (noticed that after i tried it) and juggled about a bit to get the path and i did get the avatar box showing but with a red cross in it, checked path and all OK so i am sure it could be done in the future. Did not think it would work but thought i would have a try

We are for info now using MyBB version 1.6

But apart from that the new version of PhotoPost is very impressive and i have noticed a big difference from the past version we used 5.62

No problem yeah I think only maybe half the integrations written may support an avatar. We could probally do more but it all depends when the last time someone looked at an integration since there are 20. Usually with the lesser integrations where only a few might be using it we do not get alot of feedback for improvement. Like 85% of integrations are either standalone or vb integrated. The small percentage left is all others. The largest percentage of that is mostly phpbb or invisionboard related leaving maybe 3% or less of all customers use the other dozen left.

If I get some time to install a copy I will see what updates I can do since I was the one who wrote the integration.
