does other ajax work?
Do you have other java scripts running in your header footer that might be interfering with the java for ajax?

I don´t think so. Lets have a look at my site - I gave you the login details. These problems came with the 7.0 update from 5.x ...

I logged in as admin and your photo admin java link works for me. The move delete box appears always as is has under the photo details.

If I browse to this page : 5€ Gedenkmünze San Marino 2005 PP - Münzen Galerie
I can´t get the bigger version of the main image. (if I click on it!)
(I checked the HTML - file - there is always the beginning <a href statement missing !)

Have you set in admin => show photo options the option to display the large image in a popup window to yes

well it cant work in the same window remember with the new seo there are NEVER two urls to a photo thats why its loaded in the popupwindow.
