| Problems with PHP 5.31
Hello,
I upgraded to PHP 5.31 and get the following errors with PhotoPost 7.01 --> Deprecated: Function ereg_replace() is deprecated in ...
Warning: date() [function.date]: It is not safe to rely
on the system's timezone settings. You are *required* to use the date.
timezone setting or the date_default_timezone_set() function. In case
you used any of those methods and you are still getting this warning,
you most likely misspelled the timezone identifier.
Warning: localtime() [function.localtime]
What can I do?
Kind regards,
Frank

Are you using the latest code? I mean because you should not be seeing ereg_replace errors
Your date issue could be maybe your date format what format did you place in global settings?

Hello Chuck,
now I use the latest version of PhotoPost. My date format is dd.mm.yyyy. These are the errors when I activate PHP 5.3.2 --> Warning: localtime() [function.localtime]: It is not safe to rely on the system's timezone settings. You are *required* to use the date.timezone setting or the date_default_timezone_set() function. In case you used any of those methods and you are still getting this warning, you most likely misspelled the timezone identifier. We selected 'Europe/Berlin' for 'CEST/2.0/DST' instead in /home/www/domains/aegypten-bilder.de/pp-inc.php on line 1924

... and much more.
Any idea?
I reset PHP to 5.2.13.
Regards,
Frank

There must be some changes in PHP 5.3x. Perhaps no problem in your timezone, but in mine.
Here is a solution from Drupal, but should also work in PhotoPost?! --> Code: Content visible to verified customers only.
