Arrow Problems with PHP 5.31

Hello,

I upgraded to PHP 5.31 and get the following errors with PhotoPost 7.01 -->

Deprecated: Function ereg_replace() is deprecated in ...

Warning: date() [function.date]: It is not safe to rely
on the system's timezone settings. You are *required* to use the date.
timezone setting or the date_default_timezone_set() function. In case
you used any of those methods and you are still getting this warning,
you most likely misspelled the timezone identifier.

Warning: localtime() [function.localtime]

What can I do?

Kind regards,
Frank

Are you using the latest code? I mean because you should not be seeing ereg_replace errors

Your date issue could be maybe your date format what format did you place in global settings?

My version is perhaps a month old. Not the newest 7.01.

Exclamation

Hello Chuck,

now I use the latest version of PhotoPost. My date format is dd.mm.yyyy. These are the errors when I activate PHP 5.3.2 -->

Warning: localtime() [function.localtime]: It is not safe to rely on the system's timezone settings. You are *required* to use the date.timezone setting or the date_default_timezone_set() function. In case you used any of those methods and you are still getting this warning, you most likely misspelled the timezone identifier. We selected 'Europe/Berlin' for 'CEST/2.0/DST' instead in /home/www/domains/aegypten-bilder.de/pp-inc.php on line 1924

... and much more.

Any idea?
I reset PHP to 5.2.13.

Regards,
Frank

If found this informations: "Different timezone defaults in PHP 5.3", "Just use your correct timezone string instead of UTC"

There must be some changes in PHP 5.3x. Perhaps no problem in your timezone, but in mine.

Here is a solution from Drupal, but should also work in PhotoPost?! -->

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
